Four Beautiful Designs From Maison & Objet 2016

One of the best things close visiting Maison & Objet Paris this weekend was discovering novel items in addition to chatting to the passionate designers behind them. Here are 4 items that I completely brutal inwards dear with:

1. Dutch designer Jurianne Matter creates a whole host of pretty eco-friendly things using paper, textiles in addition to ceramics. I especially loved the twig leaves - in ane trial threaded, yous tin larn wild in addition to curvature it into whatever cast yous like.

2.  Created for Alicja Patanowski's terminal projection at the Royal College of Art inwards London, PLANTATION is made upwards of 4 dissimilar porcelain shapes used for growing herbs in addition to ornamental plants inwards any disused drinking glass using the principles of hydroponics. Thanks to the purpose of solely water, yous tin sentinel the the stems in addition to roots grow too. Time to position that quondam pint drinking glass to use?!

3.  The NOMAD chair past times Copenhagen based We produce Wood is inspired past times the traditional English linguistic communication camping ground chair. It's lightweight in addition to portable, made from sustainable natural resources in addition to higher upwards all else - in addition to hence comfy that when I tested it out at the fair I couldn't larn dorsum up!

4. And for the kids, the immature French build Main Sauvage has it covered! The super soft in addition to cosy dye-free toys for kids are mitt knitted inwards a Bolivian Fair Trade Cooperative (I mightiness only convey to larn ane for myself too!).

Such lovely designs!
